'Pandemic & Racism: What's Going On?' is a special, memorial concert by AfterGlow Chorus in Oakland, CA honoring the lives and victims lost to both the pandemic and racism.

The diverse, emotional, and powerful concert program includes a wide range of composers and genres, including Marvin Gaye's 'What's Going On,' selections from the Brahms Requiem, Purcell's stunning 'Hear My Prayer,' African-American spirituals, Cynthia Erivo's 'Stand Up' (from the movie 'Harriet'), Alicia Keys, Sara Bareilles, 'You're All I Need to Get By' by Marin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, and the gospel classic 'Total Praise' by Richard Smallwood.

The concert is in the Ivy Hill neighborhood in Oakland, CA at the historic Church of All Faiths.

We'll be performing in the glorious church sanctuary which is filled with beautiful, stunning stained glass windows. Street parking is available as well in this primarily residential neighborhood.
