Spain enjoys a fascinating and diverse landscape, with both Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, dry plateaus, and the Pyrenees mountains. 

Spanish wines feature a bit of a balancing act between bold fruit and slightly dusty minerality that makes them fall between old and new world styles. The best known of these are the Tempranillo based Rioja Reds, however there is a well-known saying ‘Man can not live on Rioja alone’ (not an actual saying but thought it would sound cool).  

The point is that you can find so much variety, from delicious sparkling wine, crisp whites, rich and rounded whites, elegant floral reds, deep and complex oaked reds. It’s a real smorgasbord of flavours and textures.
