This course provides the fundamentals to safely and effectively draw your firearm from a holster. After a brief lesson in the classroom, the student will demonstrate proficiency in the new skills in the simulation lab. The class concludes with a live firearm exercise conducted on the range with your firearm and holster. If you do not have a firearm or holster, you can use one of ours at no additional costs! Ammunition can be purchased at the Range Operations Counter.    **Must have an HQL or an approved background check to enroll in this course.

Ammunition Requirements: 50 Rounds

This course is required before participation in Holster Draw Range Time or drawing from the holster in one of Heritage's ASI Matches.
