Specimen Days: Bird Drawing at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge

In the spirit of Walt Whitman, Philadelphia artist Deirdre Murphy will lead a one-hour nature art drawing session as part of this Annual Groundhog Day Festival.


Participants will draw from rescue birds and/or taxidermy collection inspired from Whitman's writings, including: little screech owl, blue birds, bald eagle, and blackbird.


 


*Workshop is free and open to the public
