Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself" is a joyful celebration of the diversity at the heart of this country -- and our connectedness to one another. To commemorate the great American poet's 200th birthday, we’re taking part in city-wide events with an installation of filmmaker Jenn Crandall's Whitman Alabama, an ongoing project that brings the poem to life through the voices of Alabama residents. See the film alongside photographs from the collection that suggest the richness of American identity.
Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Wednesday & Friday open until 8:45 p.m. Closed Monday except some holidays*
