The Poetry of Freedom

Please join us for a special July 4 celebration at 2pm. Following the annual bell-ringing ceremony, a group of poets from our region will join together to read their work, and the work of Walt Whitman, in a series of reflections on the meanings of freedom.

Featured poets: Julia Blumenreich, Lynne Farrington, Leonard Gontarek, Jerry Lindauer, Drew Miller, Amy Small-McKinney

Admission is free.

The Concord School House and Upper Burying Ground will be open for tours from 11am to 4pm on July 4.

This event is organized in conjunction with Whitman at 200: Art and Democracy.
