Lowell’s Image Theater is proud to present iconic rocker Sal Baglio in his heralded one man show, “Sal Baglio: One Man Sideshow.” Presented at 8:00 PM Saturday, May 7th at The UNITAS CIVIC CENTRE, 74 Middlesex St, Lowell, MA 01852.
Lead singer for the seminal 80’s rock and roll band The Stompers, Sal has continued to hone his craft, writing original songs for the past fifteen years. His one-man carnival ride includes his new album Music for Abandoned Amusement Parks.
Part music, part storytelling, Sal’s show is pure musical memory theatre. Anyone who ever ran to a music store, rushed home to their turntables, read ALL the liner notes of their favorite bands will be transported by Mr Baglio’s stories, original songs, AND cover songs featured in his performance.
The Stompers rocked the Greater Boston area in the 80’s, playing The Paradise Club, The Channel, Hampton Beach, The Cape Cod Coliseum, opening for J Geils, The Beach Boys, just to to name a few.
