Donaher celebrates the release of their new album "Gravity and the Stars Above" with a live show at Thirsty First on Saturday February 26th. Opening the show are the Graniteers and Dank Sinatra. Music begins at 9pm.
About the band:
Donaher wears their 90's and early 00's pop punk and power pop influences on the sleeve. The band has been compared to the likes of household power pop, Weezer and Fountains of Wayne, and indie punk mainstays, the Get Up Kids and Lemonheads. Filled with infectious hooks and guitar solos, Donaher was nominated for a New England Music Award for "Best Pop Act" in 2018 and has been featured on Sirius XM Radio.
Donaher released a 4 song EP "Angus Soundtrack 2" in 2021, the follow up to their 2017 debut "I Swear My Love Is True". The band has toured the northeast and part of the midwest, having shared the stage with Collective Soul, the Ataris, and the Smoking Popes. Donaher's latest album "Gravity and the Stars Above" was released on February 4, 2022.
The Graniteers are a three piece punk band based out of Manchester NH. They combine elements of the pop punk they grew up on as well as influences from garage rock and 70s power pop. The songs typically focus on early 30s problems and the feelings of being an aging millennial trapped in a world that is unsustainable. Anthems for the working person of the modern era. The Graniteers are Nick Ferrero (guitar/vocals), Monica Grasso (bass/vocals) and Jordan McCrea (drums).
