This session will encourage and equip us understand and explore the contribution digital can make to our supervisory work.
The language of online and onsite is becoming increasingly well used, as a way of signalling that face to face happens whether you are on zoom or not; and that you are in person, whether you are looking at a screen or not. This distinction for the supervision will be helpful – because in principle, everything is face to face; everything we do is ‘in person’ – but some of the ways we do it might need to change.
During the session we will explore:
• Why online supervision?
• Theological exploration of online supervision
• How do we engage in online supervision well?
• When to use online or not online supervision.
• How engaging well with online supervision impacts on good practice in onsite supervision
