HUD Wyoming Housing fair Discussion

Join us on Wednesday, April 19 at 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. (MT) via webcast for this year’s virtual Fair Housing Month Discussion, hosted by the HUD Wyoming Field Office & the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO). This is a call to prompt all of us at HUD and our partners to take action to end housing discrimination and to do our part to raise public awareness for fair housing rights and responsibilities. This event will wrap up Fair Housing Month for Wyoming and showcase HUD efforts to advance and protect fair housing rights to ensure that all people have the right to obtain the housing of their choice, free from discrimination. The training will consist of an overview of HUD’s role with regards to fair housing laws and enforcement (reasonable accommodations requests, discrimination claims, and best practices). Businesses such as, property managers, landlords, realtors, and mortgage lending staff are encouraged to attend, in addition, anyone that is interested in learning about fair housing laws in Wyoming.
