Racial/Ethnic Bias: Reaching for Understanding

Join Braver Angels on Tuesday, April 4, to explore the challenges and rewards of reaching across racial/ethnic divides for understanding and common ground. We will watch an abridged documentary, and short follow-up, related to one man's controversial approach and success in changing hearts and minds. Then, there will be facilitated small-group discussions about issues raised by these film clips, designed to improve understanding of issues and perspectives related to racial and ethnic bias.

This event is FREE, but you must register in advance to reserve your place at . The event will be from 6:00 to 8:00, but arrive at 5:45 for free pizza and fellowship, and stay until 8:30 for informal conversation. This will be an in-person only event, in the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie County Library.

We received much positive feedback from our well-attended ethnic bias “story-telling” event in January, and expect this to be equally interesting and productive.

This thought-provoking evening is sponsored by the Laramie County Alliance of Braver Angels, together with the Laramie County Library, Better Together, and Compassionate Cheyenne. For more information, contact Tom Brantley, Laramie County Braver Angels Alliance co-chair, at
