Kick It by Eliza is a 13 round class of high intensity interval training with kickboxing, boxing, rhythmic components, and a meditative cool down. The class is welcoming of all skill and fitness levels and aims to empower participants through movement.Bio: Hannah (she/her) recently moved from Massachusetts to start her PhD in Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. She started taking Kick It by Eliza classes six years ago at her undergrad institution, UMass Amherst, where the program was started. Hannah was drawn to the body positive, upbeat, full-body workout that Kick It provides. She continued taking virtual classes at the start of the pandemic and loved the benefit it provided for both her physical and mental health. She quickly decided to become an instructor to go more in-depth on kickboxing technique and group fitness elements and to bring the same joy to others that Kick It has brought to her! Hannah aims to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom and invites all fitness and experience levels to try her class.
Time: Tuesdays 12:30pm to 1:20pm
Cost: Free for members//$25 for non-members
