The morning classes are “all terrain,” a mix of speed and hill climbs, including rollers and small to steep grades. Those who participate regularly and over time develop lasting stamina regardless of age. Our current roster of riders span the decades, from the 20s to almost 80! This class is also appropriate for those with disabilities to which our two visually impaired riders who spin almost daily can attest (please contact the instructor ahead of time so they can make necessary modifications).
New riders are welcome and will feel a part of the gang almost immediately!
- New riders should come at least 15 minutes early. You will require individual attention to get set up on your bike the first time you take a spin class and let the instructor know about any injuries or areas of concern before the start of class.
- Bike shoes aren’t a necessity. However, if you have cycling shoes with SPD or platform clips, bring them. Padded shorts are highly recommended for comfort.
- Make certain to bring water! And pick up a towel along with a bike tag at the front desk.
