Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and vigorous flow of yoga. A strong foundation or familiarity in Vinyasa yoga is highly recommended. The structure maintains that of Ashtanga Vinyasa, consisting of a warm up (Surya Namaskar A + B) and continuing into standing poses, and seated poses. Offered inversions allow for development of strength and stability. Another key quality of the Rocket Yoga System is modification. Students are encouraged to make their own interpretation of the traditional asana by omitting or modifying binds and inversions as offered. This allows the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method to be accessible to all practitioners.
