Local residents share their own personal experiences with race, community, segregation, and history in our community during the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
The oral history program is ideal for adults and children of middle and high school age. Free and open to the public.
The event is organized by a partnership of Downtown Ashland Association, Ashland (VA) Museum, The Hanover County Black Heritage Society, INC., and Hanover Arts and Activities Center.
2020 marks the seventh annual Untold Stories program held in Ashland. DVD video of previous programs are available for purchase at Ashland Museum.
