Lecture: “Evolution & Creation: Conflicting or Compatible?”

Patricia H. Kelley, professor emerita of geology from UNC-Wilmington, will explore whether evolution conflicts with religious views of creation, or whether there is a valid way to reconcile the two. Kelley will also examine the Biblical creation accounts and creationist approaches such as Intelligent Design to assess the compatibility of evolution with faith-based perspectives. Free and open to the public.
