Library storytime is perfect for kids ages 3-5 years. We delight in sharing books, early literacy concepts, songs, and fun with kids who can listen to a few books and are starting to put the world together in story form.
Our library system offers storytime three times each week.
Mesa Public Library, downstairs in The Zone:
Thursdays from 10:30 to 11am / Saturdays from 10:15 to 10:45am.
White Rock Branch Library on the Storytime Rug in the Children's Area:
Wednesdays from 10:15 to 10:45am.
If you have younger kids, please know they are welcome, but some activities might not hold their attention. If you have a 5 or 6-year-old who is already reading, they are welcome, but some of the concepts we talk about are things they already know well.
Our storytime family welcomes everyone as we work to give all ages something special. Staff is trained to shift on the fly and re-focus if we get an especially younger or older-skewing group.
