Pesky Plants Workshop with U of M #3
Workshop #3: Performing Phenology
Join the University of Minnesota's Pesky Plant Trackers at Franconia Sculpture Park on Sunday August 29th for the third in a series of workshops that connect phenology with creative practice! For this session, we’ll return to Franconia to reflect on phenology through performance. We’ll begin by retracing our steps and observing the wild parsnip from the previous workshop. Participants will then join a series of exercises facilitated by Chris Bell to create short performances in conversation with place, plants, and people. The short performances will prompt us to think deeply about terms like invasive and native in relation to the places that we inhabit.

Come as you are - there is no phenology or performance experience required to take part in the collaboration!
