For Homeschoolers 14 to 18 years old, explore color through three print methods, monotype, drypoint etching, and silkscreen print. This 6-week course, Thursdays, March 2 - April 6, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., will teach students the basics of color mixing to use in each printing method. Students will make a series of prints on paper plus print their images on T-shirts if desired.
At the end of the class, participants will take home a print portfolio of the work made in the course as well as the knowledge of how to mix specific desired colors and how to create printed images.
All materials are included in the cost of the class.
Students need to provide their own T-shirts for printing (optional).
There will be a short break for each session. Bring a snack or beverage if desired.
Parents will be contacted via email after ticket purchase to be sent follow-up paperwork and class resources.
Please note that the class fee is non-refundable unless it does not meet minimum enrollment. If this happens, you will be contacted a week ahead of time, and the class will be canceled.
