Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland will host a Stags’ Leap Winery Dinner on Wednesday, September 27 with seating times available beginning at 5:30 PM. The evening will begin with an amuse-bouche paired with a Napa Valley Viognier. The first course will be a Savory Quinoa Waffle with a harissa spiced chicken meatball, preserved lemon cream, and pistachio dust with a Napa Valley Chardonnay followed by Duck Confit Crispy Tacos with sweet corn and maitake mushroom salsa, and chili and coriander yogurt sauce and a 2021 Napa Valley Petite Sirah. Next up will be Oro King Salmon in Wellington with sundried tomato pesto, creamed spinach, puff pastry, and grilled lemon and a 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and then Pomegranate Marinated Grilled Lamb Rack with crispy saffron rice cake, charred heirloom tomatoes, and mint pistachio pesto and a 2020 Napa Valley Merlot. Dessert will be cinnamon sugar dusted Choux Pastries filled with chocolate avocado mousse, and local honey drizzle.
