Last Bat Walk of the Season at Troy Meadows

Visit to register, event is free and registration is simple with Eventbrite! 7:00pm Free bat-themed arts and crafts for children, 7:30 presentation begins, followed by walk. Learn about New Jersey's bats in an interesting presentation by Rutgers Conservation and Management team, followed by a short walk at dusk to spot bats flying overhead! Presenters will use special bat acoustic device that allows them to identify bat species on site in real time. Bring flashlight, folding chair, bug repellent, and water. Weather appropriate footwear is recommended. Rain date will be Friday, August 12th and registered participants will be notified via email if event must be postponed.
