CAFNIX first Brackets meeting combined with the Adelaide 2-Hour and Adelaide Lightweight 2-Hour races at Mallala are just around the corner - entries are now open via RIDERNET. Supp regs can be found on the entry page.
Bracket Racing is a race format where you qualify and compete in Brackets based on your lap times, this provides for plenty of close racing across all classes and also provides an environment for newcomers to the sport to get amongst the action without feeling the pressure of having to be on the pace – there is no such thing as “too slow” to race!
Spectator entry is free all weekend long so tell your friends we’re going racing and get them along to take in all the action.
We will be running a practice day on Friday the 9th of June which is open to club members to attend even if not competing for the weekend. If you would like to attend Friday practice only please register here.
The base entry fee for the weekend includes your first Brackets or Adelaide 2 Hour event and a transponder for your bike. Friday practice for competitors can be found in the products list before completing payment. You only need to pay for an additional transponder if you are running more than one bike.
Classes for Saturday are as follows:
Over 401cc Brackets 1 & 2 (Laptimes 1:10-1:19.9)
Over 401cc Brackets 3 & 4 (Laptimes 1:20-1:30+)
Supersports 300 Brackets
Steve Martin/Peter Kerr/Tim Inkster Feature Race (A & B Grade)
Reece Bancell Feature Race (C & D Grade)
Feature races for Juniors, 300’s and Fearless
Classes for Sunday
Adelaide 2 Hour (400cc and above)
Adelaide Lightweight 2 Hour (Supersport 300)
Please note that for the Adelaide 2 Hour we have received permission to run pit boards on the pit wall – a maximum two pit crew per team will be allowed to support you in pitlane during these events.
For people entering both the Adelaide 2 Hour and the Lightweight 2 Hour there is a separate event for the cross-entry fee to prevent you paying the full entry fee again, please only use this if you are entering the Lightweight event in addition to the main Adelaide 2 Hour event.
Camping is available at the track for both Friday and Saturday nights – this is managed through Mallala Motorsport Park. Adults are $20 per night, children under 12 are free - you can buy your camping tickets here: https://mallala.rezdy.com/459940/mallala-camping
