For over a thousand years, our most important cultural activity has been the study of Talmud. It has sustained us through persecution and exile, shaping the discourse of our people and serving as the crowning achievement of our intellectual tradition.

Perhaps you have been curious about the Talmud, but thought it was complex and inaccessible to anyone lacking extensive training. Not anymore! The Shul is proud to offer a weekly Talmud class. You need no prior knowledge of the Talmud and no formal legal training.

MEN and WOMEN are invited join a weekly Talmud class from 9:00-10:00am.

We will be studying the 6 ^th chapter of the tractate of Bava Metzia that deals with the laws of employer/employee relations.  The text can be purchased locally at Crown Judaica (262-242-9514) call to see if they have it in stock or if it needs to be ordered), or can be ordered online:

Sunday Schedule at the Shul:

8:00-9:00 am Morning services followed by a breakfast with bagels, lox, eggs, and pancakes.

9:00-10:00 am Talmud Class
