There is nothing like a good old-fashioned musical to get you in the Christmas spirit! Join us at Tūhura for morning tea and a screening of White Christmas (1954).
After leaving the army in World War 2, Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) team up to become the next best song and dance act. Davis tries to play matchmaker and introduces Wallace to the beautiful Betty and Judy. When the ladies head to a Vermont lodge to perform a Christmas show, the pair follow, only to find their former commander General Waverly as the lodge owner. Follow the crew in a series of romantic mix-ups and musical performances as they try and help the General.
All ages are welcome, so bring your friend or loved one, snuggle up and enjoy this classic Christmas musical.
Tickets include the film, Christmas treats, and tea and coffee. Morning tea will be served on Atrium Level 1 from 10am, and the film will screen in the Barclay Theatre at 11am.
