Small Sculpture in Clay: an Art Studio Workshop with Pamela Brown
— ∮ —
An Art Studio Workshop at the Wallpaper House on Sunday 26th November.
At this event we will create a series of Small Air-dried Clay Sculptures.
An understanding of Sculpture—even just its recognition—is essential for every artist. Because of depth. Depth in the finished work and 'depth'–solidity–in the material. Depth in the path of the viewer of a work as they approach it, cross before it--or flee from it: this applies to every work. It is worth an effort to develop an appreciation of the solid.
Prior art experience is not required. Materials, light refreshments and coffee will be supplied. Art journal and drawing work will be featured.
Cost is $115 for the day with materials, light snacks and coffee included. Limit of nine participants.
