Anzac Day – Voices of Gallipoli
By Toitu Otago Settlers Museum

Toitū is proud to present the stories of some of the ANZAC soldiers who fought at Gallipoli.

Take some time to listen to the words of John Skinner, Otago Infantry Battalion; George Skerret, Otago Battalion; and Henry Lewis, Otago Regiment. Their stories will be recited verbatim, just as they wrote them so many years ago.

Join Toitū, alongside institutions across the country, as we bring to life just a few of the many stories of our soldiers who fought in The Great War, as told in Maurice Shadbolt’s book Voices of Gallipoli.
