Beeswax Candle Making
By Otago Museum

Get crafty on the opening night of Wild Dunedin 2023 and join our workshop on how to make your own beeswax candle during our Up Late evening.

Beeswax candles have many benefits, they are non-toxic, and have a natural, subtle honey scent. They are also a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to paraffin wax candles.

Bring your friends, or make new ones, and bond over making great-smelling candles. These candles are perfect to gift to someone or to keep for yourself.

While you are here, enjoy live music and free tours through our galleries, which will be open to you after hours.

Tickets are $5 and include all the required materials to create your very own beeswax candle.
