As part of celebrating their 28th year, Dunedin’s OXO CUBANS are resurrecting that great tradition with their first 2023 “OXO CUBANS SUNDAY SESSION” that kicks off at the TAIERI BOWLING CLUB, 2.30 – 6pm, Sunday 23rd of April.

Auckland’s CHET O’CONNELL is without a doubt New Zealand’s most in demand guitarist.A versatile and dynamic performer, his instrumental and vocal ability spans a wide variety of musical genres.
He has supported, toured & shared stages with many leading artists, including Tommy Emmanuel, Dr John, Kenny Rogers, Joe Cocker, Cher, Gerry and the Pacemakers, the Topp Twins, the Ladykillers, Jackie Clarke, Hammond Gamble and iconic Kiwi Bluesman Midge Marsden.
Crookston based JEFF REA has long been regarded as a unique singer/songwriter.
A seasoned performer with a four-decade career, his golden voice holds audiences spellbound and has graced theatres, music festivals and concert halls from Tapanui to Nashville.
As a recording artist his most recent album is the self-penned "Who I am".
He's a veteran of the road and returns to America each year to tour with legendary U.S country music star Gary Morris.
He is also a 20-year member of the Oxo Cubans musical family.
