NCCC Lewis Library Presents A Brief History of the NCCC Property
By Andy Aquino

The Niagara County Community College (NCCC) Henrietta G. Lewis Library presents this free special event on Tuesday, November 16th at 2pm.  NCCC Mathematics Professor Jerry Truesdell will present A Brief History of the NCCC Property in Sanborn.

Description: Jairus Rose (1768-1828) and Daniel Treichler (1774-1860) are both great-great-great-great grandfathers of Jerry Truesdell. Jairus Rose purchased the present college property in 1811 from the Holland land Company, and a generation later in 1858 Daniel Treichler’s son, Samuel, purchased the west side of the college property.   Come hear Professor Truesdell give a brief narrative of both of these families, as seen through the lens of current properties in Sanborn.

This event will take place on the NCCC campus in room E-101 and be broadcast simultaneously via Zoom on Tuesday, November 16th at 2pm.  Registration is required.   For more information and to register, please visit:
