Please join us for FRCAE's first program of fall 2021 to learn about faculty governance in higher education, the process through which faculty, professional staff, and administration participate in the development of policies and decision-making of the institution. It is the systematic interaction among the faculty, committee representatives, and administration in the development of policies at the college.  Processes are codified in the bylaws of the Faculty Senate. The process of faculty governance may be facilitated by standing committees, task forces, and ad hoc committees, as well as by faculty during open forum opportunities. Motions, resolutions, and rules of order will be reviewed at this session.
