6:00-6:30 pm: How to Write a Scary Story. Let’s get into the Halloween spirit! The first half of our meeting, we will learn how to best write a scary story. How to build suspense and fear, best practices for the genre and what not to do. This will be the informal, lesson-style “how-to” portion of our meeting.

6:30-7:00pm: Share projects and receive feedback. For those looking to share their writing projects, this half of the meeting will be reading each other’s work and receiving feedback and support.
