Festival of Joy

The annual Festival of Joy Parade/Procession will start and end at Klyde Warren Park. The activation within the park is managed by Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation. This permit covers the related street closures. The route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes ahead of participants and reopen as the last participant passes through. The parade begins at Klyde Warren Park on Woodall Rodgers Freeway, proceeds south on Harwood Street, left on Flora Street, right on Routh, right on Ross, right on Harwood Street back to Klyde Warren Park. A festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Klyde Warren Park. Set up at Klyde Warren Park will begin at 2 p.m. on May 20 and teardown will be complete by 7 p.m. on May 21. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 2 p.m.
