This annual 5K walk is to honor the families that have been impacted by premature birth, birth defects and/or infant mortality. The walk will start at Gulden Lane & Singleton Boulevard at 8:30 a.m. in waves of 1,000 participants with a 5-minute intervals, proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turn’s at the marker and reverse the route; Gulden Lane will close from Singleton Boulevard to Toronto Street from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Setup in the parking lot begins at 7 a.m. on May 13 with the erection of a mobile stage (20’x20’x24”) and tents (fifteen – 10’x10’, seven – 20’x20’, and one – 10’ x 20’). Teardown will be complete by 4 p.m. 6 and street closure apparatus will be removed by 1 p.m.
