Racing Systems is hosting their annual Heart and Sole 5K. This ticketed event includes a 5K and a 1K Fun Run on White Rock Lake Trail, a DJ, vendors, and amplified sound. Food and beverage (alcoholic) will be provided. The 1K starts at 8:30 a.m. leaving Winfrey Point Drive; left on Emerald Isle Drive; left on White Rock trail; U-turn before E. Lawther Drive back to Winfrey Point to finish and disperse. The 5K run starts at 9 a.m. leaving Winfrey Point Drive; left on Emerald Isle Drive; left on White Rock trail; U-turn before Garland Road back to Winfrey Point to finish and disperse. Setup begins at 5 a.m. with the erection tents (eight – 10’x10’) and a portable generator. Teardown will be complete by 12 p.m.
