Lowe Mill A&E Concerts on the Dock is back!
We’re back, baby!
Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is more than a little excited to kick off the 14th year of our signature series, Concert on the Dock. Featuring a variety of music styles from local and regional musicians, there is something for everyone at this casual, festival-style concert series.
Here’s this year’s Lowe Mill A&E Spring COTD line up:
April 22: Sylvia Rose Novak
April 29: TGTG & Peruvian Coin
May 6: The Blips
May 13: Nossa Samba
May 20: Cheyloe Martin
May 27: Chelsea Who?
The bands begin at 6:00 p.m., just as the sun is setting under the water tower. The bands play until 9:00 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and grab a patch of grass in front of the stage. There are also risers available for seating. Leashed pets are welcome. Kids are welcome, too! (No leash required.) Since it’s a kid-friendly event, keep an eye out for the hula-hooping kids in front of the stage!
Schedule a few minutes to see the artwork in one of our seven galleries or stop in and visit with an artist in their studio and watch them make art. Ask a painter why they use that brush, ask a sculptor about molten metal, or just admire the beauty of their art. All of our studios encourage guests to walk in and engage with the artist. Lowe Mill A&E artists are passionate about their art and love to share the art they make everyday here at Lowe Mill A&E.
Picnics are welcome or you can get to Lowe Mill A&E early and grab something to eat from one of our many food and drink vendors to enjoy before the show. Try a pizza from Happy Tummy and a sweet, fruity tea from Piper and Leaf. You can also sample the delicious vegetarian food from Chef Will The Palette’s food truck located under the water tower or The Veggie, our award-winning vegetarian restaurant. Let your taste buds wander to Easter Europe fare at Pufta Buna just behind the stage. You can finish the night off with delicious chocolate treats from Pizzelle’s or a whiskey from Iron’s distillery. After the concert, stop into Dragon’s Forge for a sandwich and a cup of coffee!
Lowe Mill A&E is located at 2211 Seminole Drive. Parking is $5.00. Load up your car with all your friends and Head to Lowe Mill A&E to enjoy a night of music and fun.
