Chris is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience as an entrepreneur. Chris started and sold his first company while in college. Since then, he has been involved in founding eight more startups. One was sold to Electronic Data Systems in the early 1990’s. Another, Avanade, was founded in late 1999. When Chris left in 2009, the company had reached $1B USD in revenue with operations in almost 30 countries. In addition to his role as co-CEO of the USMAC, Chris is an Industry Fellow at UC Berkeley and a partner in a venture capital firm. - Ms. Akemi Tsunagawa / Founder & CEO at Bespoke
Ms. Akemi Tsunagawa is the CEo of Bespoke, a travel-tech company in Japan that provides real-time customer engagement and measurement solutions for the travel & hospitality industry. Through its AI based chatbot "Bebot, the company enables its travel partners like airports, cities, transport-authorities, DMOs and governments to communicate effectively and privacy-compliant with travelers in location. Bebot's frictionless approach allows travel companies to gather deep insights about visitors, drive in-market spend within the constituency, address overcrowding issues in urban environments and communicate effectively during man-made and natural disasters. More than 100 partners rely on Bespoke's services including partners like the Tokyo Metro, Narita International Airport, Sendai International Airport, Tokyo Station, and the Mie Prefecture. Bespoke launched their U.S. presence in 2019.
