Capt. Paul Kenny and local treasure Lee Brockington offer 3-hour guided water and land tours on Capt. Kenny's canopy-covered pontoon boat! Lee has been sharing the history of the Lowcountry for years as an instructor for CLASS and OLLI, as a public speaker for the Georgetown County Library System, and as a former Senior Interpreter for Hobcaw Barony. Captain Paul, former marine scientist with the USC-Baruch Marine Laboratory and boat tour captain, knows the area rivers and tributaries and their ecology. Six passengers max.
Imagine PeeDee: Come aboard Imagine and travel the storied rivers and tributaries feeding Winyah Bay with licensed Captain Paul at the helm and local treasure Lee imparting histories, mysteries, and tidbits of wisdom from the stern: 7/20 (room for 6), 7/27 (room for 3), 8/7 (Mon., room for 1), 8/16 (Wed., room for 6), 8/24 (room for 4). $100 per person.
Imagine Sandy Island: Boat tour of the Island environs, walking from the landing on the sandy road to Wilma Cottage for a Southern mid-day dinner with Laura Herriott and a visit to the church and school, then a full-belly return to the landing.
