Andrew Tyson is emerging as a distinctive and important new musical voice. He has captured the Arthur Rubinstein Prize in Piano and has performed with nearly every major orchestra in the U.S. and Europe. A First Place winner of the Young Concerts Artists and a 2013 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient, Mr. Tyson returns to the UK this season, performing in chamber music concerts with the Hallé Soloists in Leeds and Birmingham, giving solo recitals in Leeds and Manchester, and appearing as a soloist for the third time with the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester, Hanley, and Blackburn. Additionally, he has been re-engaged to perform with the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle and at Rockefeller University, and appears with the North Carolina Symphony and Omaha Symphony. Together with YCA violinist, Benjamin Beilman, duo recitals with be performed.
