Discover the story of one of the most influential artists of all time, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, through Phil Grabsky’s Exhibition on Screen series. Picasso collected more of his works than any other artist. Matisse and Monet revered him. He was an artist that was instrumental in creating the Impressionist movement, but then rejected it and went in a completely new direction – with extraordinary results.


The Barnes Collection in Philadelphia has more Renoirs than any other gallery in the world and it’s there that the search begins to tell the remarkable story of this remarkable artist.
