The Lackawanna River Conservation Association's (LRCA's) annual RiverFest celebration will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at Sweeney's Beach, 40 Poplar St, Scranton. Live music by Dave Brown & the Dishonest Fiddlers and Mountain Sky Orchestra. Steamtown NHS will be exhibiting the "Rings of Fire" and will have a special passenger drop-off/pickup during their excursion to Carbondale. The adult beverage tent will feature mead by Space Time Mead & Cider works. Duck-A-Thon race & raffle is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
