Research Series - "Moral Principles as Defences" with Prof. Colton Fehr

The criminal law requires defendants to plead individual defences like self-defence, duress, and entrapment. The elements underlying defences nevertheless take their shape from broader moral principles. Professor Fehr will consider whether the law should abandon individual defences and require defendants to plead only the moral principles underlying criminal defences.
