January 7 Learn to XC Ski Free
The Sandpoint Nordic Club and Schweitzer Mountain Resort want YOU to learn how to cross-country ski! They have teamed up to offer free cross-country skiing demos and lessons on specifically groomed beginner trails at “The Roundabout” on the road up to Schweitzer. Free rentals are available on a reservation basis and free beginner classic skiing and skate skiing instruction will be offered. Everyone who attends will receive a coupon for a future discounted lesson package at Schweitzer to continue to improve their skills! Free hot chocolate and snacks will be on hand to keep everyone warm and fueled up.
