Howard Gilman Performing Artist Residency Cohort (PARC) Information Session

Howard Gilman Performing Artist Residency Cohort grants are for individual performing artists across dance, theater, and music, from traditional practices to contemporary performance, at any stage of their career. This new grant opportunity establishes a diverse group of 10 performing artists to further their creative practice through a 6-month cohort model including monthly cohort meetings and professional development support. Awards in this category will be $6,000 per artist.

Who is eligible for the Performing Arts Residency Cohort? Applicants must be at least 18 years old, not a full-time student, and must be a Staten Island resident.

  • Individual artists whose work is based in the Performing Arts - music, dance, theater

These funds may be used to support project creation, but that is not a requirement in this grant category. Please note this award does not come with space but space rental is an eligible expense. A budget is not required to apply.
