New Mexico Adult Mission Trip

Mark your calendars on September 18-24, 2022 to join other White’s Chapel adults on a mission trip to McCurdy Ministries (located north of Santa Fe, New Mexico). McCurdy Ministries is a National Mission Institution of the United Methodist Church that provides a variety of programs to the Española Valley including a community center, a charter school, counseling services, adult education programs, and after school care. There will be a variety of work for all skill levels during the week including improvement projects, administrative work, and program support. Check out their website at www.mccurdy.org. Cost: $500 per person

Includes transportation, lodging,  all breakfasts, and lunches (except travel days). Dinners are on your own.

Transportation Information:

We will be travelling by church bus and passenger van from the church to New Mexico and back.

Housing Information:

The first night will be at a hotel in Santa Rosa, NM. All rooms have 2 queen beds.

During the week we will be staying at the McCurdy Ministries facility: Volunteers are housed in the Pilling-Robinson Resident Dorm. Each room has 2 single beds and a sink. There is a shared bath between two rooms with a tub/shower and toilet.

Current McCurdy Ministries Covid Protocols (These may change by September):

• Team members are required to be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to departure
• Proof of vaccination (copy of vaccination card) needs to be provided
• Team members are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of departure.
