Thursday (May 5, Aug. 4, and Nov. 3) | 1 to 4 p.m.
2600 Cullen Street, Fort Worth TX, 76107
Do you want to make a difference for people who are facing food insecurity in North Texas? Join us as we partner with Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB), which provides more than 1,000,000 meals each week through hunger-relief charities and feeding programs in Tarrant County and 12 surrounding counties. The church is offering an opportunity on a quarterly basis to volunteer at the TAFB Distribution Center, in Fort Worth, for “Quality Control” and sorting of donated foods. Once sorted, the donations are then distributed through their system. The sorting session is from 1 to 4 p.m. and led by either Rev. Lori Cotton or Rev. Sterling Smith. TAFB requires volunteers to be vaccinated for COVID-19, show proof of vaccine (vaccination card), and be at least 12 years old to participate. Registration is required and available on the church website. For more information, contact Rev. Lori Cotton.
