Come see a new side of the Denver Irish. The story of Denver's Irish is a complicated one.

The Catholic Church and Denver politics. The Famine and the railroads. Mary Mother Jones.

The anti-Chinese riots of 1880. The KKK and the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Carrigan's Curve; the capture of Leadville strike leader Michael Mooney; and the resolute pacifism of Ben Salmon.

Led by James Walsh, Metro University Professor and founder of the organic theater company The Romero Troupe, this walking tour will shed new light on conflicts and stories of survival that defined Denver's working class for generations.
