Vision and Resolve illuminates women’s movements and organizing that have had an impact on Colorado’s History. The Center for Colorado Women’s History invites you to explore this topic throughout the year. A newly acquired collections item will be on display for the first time starting March 22.
Created in 2020 in celebration of the Colorado Women’s Suffrage Centennial, this contemporary sculpture, “Western Women Wild with Joy,” by Colorado artists Emma Hardy, Martha Russo, and Anna and Tina Suszynski, was added to History Colorado’s Collection in 2022. The “cake” provides an opportunity for discussion about historic and current activism efforts in Colorado and the United States.
