The City Beautiful Movement was more than just a design idea. It’s an ethos—and one of the longest-lasting organizing principles in Denver. The Mile High City's parks and parkways were the first such system listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and together we’ll explore how the early vision for them has survived for over a century. In partnership with Historic Denver, walk with us through Denver’s largest historic district along Seventh Avenue Parkway and through Cheesman Park, as we discuss the lasting pieces of the movement and how we experience our city today.
