Libraries have access to a considerable amount of data - from statistics about library use to data about their own communities. The hardest part is often determining what data is needed to answer operational questions or how to turn those data into evidence-based decisions. It is anticipated that participants will leave this session with a better understanding of how to ask the right questions to collect actionable data through community and staff surveys. Additionally, several templates will be provided to help in improving this data-driven process at their libraries.
