Tualatin Valley Creates (TVC) offers workshops as a way for artists to connect while learning about important and interesting topics. In October 2023, TVC is teaming up with workshop presenter Ryan Mauck, Attorney, Principal with Aspect Law Group and Board member of the Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
This fall TVC Workshop Series kicks off with the informative topic- Creative Business Basics on Thursday October 5th from 5:00-6:30 pm.

Ryan Mauck has helped artists, entertainment companies and other businesses navigate their legal questions and challenges. After growing up in a family that included a writer/editor, an artist, a filmmaker/photographer and multiple musicians, he studied theater and filmmaking (including a short stint as a professional film editor) in college, before attending UCLA School of Law, where he was co-Editor-in-Chief of UCLA's Entertainment Law Review. After graduating in 2002 and interning at Warner Bros. Pictures, he spent the next fifteen years as an associate and later partner at the Los Angeles law firm Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell. There he supported clients on intellectual property issues in general and music, film and sports law in particular.
